Roles and responsibilities

  • Shall receive all monies for PTC and deposit into bank approved by PTC.
  • Shall keep accurate record of all receipts and disbursements.
  • Shall present a statement of account at every PTC meeting and other times requested by board members.
  • Shall present a proposed budget to the general membership at first meeting of school year for approval.
  • Shall prepare state and federal tax forms and submit in a timely manner.
  • Board members shall audit books annually or upon request of Treasurer at any time deemed necessary.
  • Shall assist with Master Calendar for following school year-to be completed by June.
  • Shall be chairperson for minimum of two fundraisers during school year.  
  • He/she is responsible for planning and getting volunteers for those events. (see calendar)
  • Set up, work, close every event.  If you are unable to make it-please notify President, chairperson of that event and find a replacement.
  • Minimum of two board members will count money at end of event, one of whom must be Treasurer or President.
  • Shall provide cash needed a minimum of 3 hours before event .
  • This is the only paid position on the board.  Pay will be determined by board members.
