Roles and responsibilities

  • Submit agenda to Web Support 1 week prior to meeting so he/she can post on PTC website.
  • Shall keep an accurate record of proceedings of all meetings.
  • Shall be prepared to refer to minutes from previous meetings.
  • Minutes shall be prepared and copy given to all board members and Web Support within one week following meeting. (Board members will add to binders.)
  • Create and maintain an annual membership roster.
  • Assist with PTC communications, when necessary-including emails, marketing materials, flyers to parents, etc.
  • Write “thank you” cards to companies and individuals that contributed or provided services for an event.  Please have cards signed by all board members and Principal.  Send them out within one week after event.  Chairperson for event shall provide all contact information.
  • Support other board members with any necessary correspondence .
  • Shall assist with Master Calendar for following school year-to be completed by June.
  • Shall be chairperson for minimum of two fundraisers during school year.  He/she will be responsible for planning and getting volunteers for those events. (see calendar)
  • Set up, work, and close every event.  If you are unable to make it-please notify President, chairperson and find your own replacement.
  • Minimum of two board members will count money at end of event, one of whom must be Treasurer or President.
